5 Ways You Can Still Be In NYFW

Fashion month is almost here. Typically people call it Fashion Week. Us Native New Yorker’s know that all month long there are fashion shows in the city. People travel from all over the world to showcase their design skills. Don’t feel discouraged when you don’t have a slot during NYFW. This season the dates are September 6th- 14th. If you don’t have a slot by now you know, it’s already too late. Here are 5 ways you can still be in NYFW: Designer Edition

Vendor Table

Some events allow Vendors to sell products just by paying for a table. This will allow you to sell products. Along with still getting exposure to the NYFW scene.

Pre-record your collection

Hire a few models, a video crew, and reserve a location. To have a private recording of your collection in runway style. Release the video during fashion week. Now no one missed your show because they can play it at any time.
Photoshoot

Do a photo shoot with the new collection. Send images along with a description of the collection to your top Bloggers. They will give you the NYFW buzz you need.

Presentation

Invite bloggers  😉and photographers. This style of event is the best if you just want something small but still need the exposure. Check What is a Fashion Presentation?  blog post if you need a little more detail.

Last an surely not least

Pop up shop

Have a Pop-up shop selling your new collection. The first night should be industry insiders along with top Clients. The following days should be open to the public.

I know everyone wants to have a runway show during fashion week, but sometimes that doesn’t happen. I hope these 5 Ways you can still be in NYFW. Help you to make it on the scene.

Also, If you need a blogger to cover your event. Just send info to Katherin@Katscastings.com
